I love all of my kiddos, but I also really love when I only have a couple kiddos and we get to go on adventures and do something fun together.

All you need is love?

This is a question people have asked for a long time. Is it true? Is love all we really need? I think it would depend on who you ask. When it comes to young children, love is all you need. You know your parents love you and spend time with you, that is what is most important to a child. You don't understand the importance of money or work or health, all that matters is love. Maybe that is what is so appealing about childhood, why we would all do anything to go back, because we were innocent and love really was what made the world go round. Target

I called my Mom to tell her that the parents are back and that I am responsibility-free in the evenings and weekends again. She didn't answer, but returned my phone call soon after. I told her my news, and she shared with me that she was about to head into the new Target. We are a family of Target-lovers, what's not to love? As she walked in, she said "it's huge." I tried talking to her, but could tell that she was distracted. She started to ask me something, "Did you... you should see the card section, it is like the one in Grand Forks." I, again, tried to change the subject back to what I was talking about. I finally let her go because she needed to finish shopping in there before returning home to watch Lost, throwing in "it has a Starbucks" before we said our goodbyes. Loving living with my sister.

Last night Jessie came downstairs to show me her toenail that is about to fall off. She was in the middle of writing a paper and decided it was something I needed to know. She ran a marathon in October and the toenail falling off is a consequence of it. And while most would be grossed out by this and wonder why it was important enough to come down a flight of very steep stairs, I enjoyed it. Not because it was something I really wanted to see, but because we can tell and show each other these things now that we are living together. Just another pro of living with her.
