Day 26

something old The tree is old, as is the lake since it is made of glacial water. (again, this photo was taken for this post, I took the list with to Glacier)

Day 25

Image
sunflare Since I doubled up on a day, it may seem that I didn't follow my rules. But I swear I took this photo for the challenge, it's not one I just happened to have in my folder.

pretty pattern Who says photos need to be in focus? Sometimes the prettiest patterns come out through a blur.

Day 20

what i read My sister introduced me to the book Looking For Alaska, which went down as one of my favorite books ever. So I decided to read all books by John Green and I only have one more to go.      This book, by John Green and another author, David Levithan, will also go down as one of my faves. Good thing too, because I will need another author to read once I finish off that last book.

Day 19

where i slept   Since I'm house-sitting, I am sleeping in a much nicer place than at my apartment. And this is where I'm considering sleeping if the nights stay warm.

something fun I love all of my kiddos, but I also really love when I only have a couple kiddos and we get to go on adventures and do something fun together.

Wrap up

Okay, let's finish this challenge up. I got a little sidetracked, but going to get back in the game. And even though I already took photos for several of the days that I didn't post, it seems easier to just start over with taking new photos than looking through my [way too many] photos on my computer. So starting a-new, let's get 'er done.

Day 10

Image
something i made No, I didn't make these children. And no, I didn't make the hats or shoes or the playground equipment that they sit on. But I like to think that without me, this friendship would have never been. I hope what I have made has formed a bond between all my kiddos that will last. And they certainly made something for me... a bigger heart.

Catch up

I have been taking photos to go along with the photo challenge, but I have slacked on posting them. I blame it partly on a concussion and partly on The Hunger Games trilogy. But per request of the one person that I think is actually checking my blog, I am going to do some catch up. I will post several over the weekend and will hopefully get back on track.

Day 9

Image
faceless self portrait My idea for a faceless self portrait was to show something that still shows it's me. Hence, my scars. The one above, a 5 inch scar from when I was 10, when my right leg had a fight with a metal milkbox with a hinge sticking out. The one below from when I was 20, a laproscopic surgery gone bad. Should have only been the small scar inside my belly button, instead you can see only the top few inches of a 7 inch scar on my stomach. What can I say, when I get a scar, I like to go all out.

Day 8

Image
technology I was less than enthused about this topic, the only technological item I would consider taking a photo of is my camera, which is hard to do when you need it to take the photo. So instead I'm showing what technology can do to a photo. Lame, I know, but on to the next topic.

Slacking

I've slacked the past couple days on the photo challenge because I can't get the creative juices flowing for the next topic. I'll come up with something...
